Project Summary |
兵庫県神戸市西区の西神ニュータウン・狩場台地区において、神戸市垂水区を中心に福祉事業を展開する社会福祉法人丸による、新たな福祉施設の庭づくりプロジェクトを進めています。
この庭は、施設を利用する方やスタッフだけでなく、地域内外の様々な主体とともに創り、育てていく「みんなのまち庭」となることを目指しています。施設の開設は2028年を予定しています。
開設までの期間は、地域の皆さんとともに庭のあり方を考え、育んでいくプロセスとして、継続的なワークショップやイベントを開催します。活動を通じて、人と人とのつながりが生まれ、まち庭を支えるコミュニティづくりにも取り組んでいきます。
In the Karibadai area of Seishin New Town, Nishi-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, we are developing a garden project for a new welfare facility by Social Welfare Corporation Maru, which has been providing welfare services mainly in Tarumi-ku, Kobe.
This garden aims to become “Minna no Machiniwa” (“Everyone’s Garden”), a place created and nurtured together not only by facility users and staff, but also by people who live and work in the surrounding community. The facility is scheduled to open in 2028.
Until the opening, we will continue to hold workshops and events with local residents as a process of exploring and nurturing the future of the garden together. Through these activities, we aim to foster connections between people and build a community that supports and grows alongside Machiniwa.
